RETREAT DETAILS

Arrival: December 3rd 2020. Check-in @15h00. Welcoming circle @18h00. Dinner will be served that night around @19:30

Departure: December 7th 2020 (4 nights package) or December 10th 2020 (7 nights package). Check out @12h00. Breakfast will be served that morning.

Christopher Hôtel is only a 5 min drive from Lorient’s beach where surf lessons are available. St Jean and Gustavia the main town are only 10 min away by car, there you can find café, boutiques, and banks…

The Yoga and Meditation classes will be held at the beautiful Villa Nina. The Villa is located few steps away from the hôtel and has gorgeous views over the ocean, the sunset and the surroundings islands.

We will have access to a number of high quality props: mats, blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters.

During this retreat we will strive to perfect the balance between personal time and group connection.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

As a condition of booking you are required to take out your own travel insurance. The travel insurance should include lost luggage, medical costs and cancellation.

Travel Insurance is the best way to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstances. Depending on the type of Travel Insurance, it can protect you in case of:
• You cancel your participation in the yoga retreat.
• The retreat is canceled due to weather, natural disaster, or not enough participants to run the trip.
• Lost luggage.
• Medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured.

BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATION

Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 12pm. Should an early check-in or a late check-out to be desired, an additional charge might apply.

Accommodation rates are subject to a 5% local tax which is charged upon departure.

DEPOSIT POLICY:
A deposit of 50% of the total is required at time of booking. Balance is due 30 days before the start of the retreat: November 3rd 2020.

100 % of the payment is required for EARLY BIRD packages and is non-refundable in case of cancellation (except force majeure circumstances like closed borders for i.e Covid or in case of Hurricane) 

CANCELLATION POLICY

The Hôtel Christopher requires cancellations to be notified in writing (by email or by fax). Cancellations are only confirmed when the Guest receives a unique cancellation number from the Hotel. A charge equivalent to 5% of the total stay applies for any cancellation occurring before the periods mentioned below. Refunds of deposit are paid after receipt of written cancellation notice. St. Barths’ local time at midnight applies for respective notice periods.

In case of cancellation between booking date to 31 days before the stay: 5% of the total stay is charged.

In case of cancellation between 30 to 00 days before the stay: 100% of the total stay is charged.

In case of no-show: 100% of the total stay is charged.

Early – Bird Package: 100% of the total stay is charged (see policy above).

Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flights cancellations, travel delays or illness. If you cancel your participation in the retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy above will apply, with no exceptions. We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergencies… etc) but we have costs already incurred with the organization of the event. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change.

 If we cancel the retreat
If the Hôtel Christopher must cancel the retreat for any reason due to weather, natural disaster, borders closed for Covid-19 or political upheaval, you will receive a full refund for all deposits and payments that have been made. We cannot, however, compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred.

TRAVEL AND WEATHER

Since the Saint Barthélemy Airport (SBH) has an extremely short runway, most visitors opt to fly into the Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) in neighboring St. Maarten and then take a shuttle flight or ferry to the island.

Shuttle Flight: St Barth Commuter or Winair (10 min)

Ferry: Great Bay Express (45 min) or Voyager (45 min to 90 min)

You can also fly to Puerto Rico San Juan airport (SJU) and then take a connecting flight with Tradewind to St Barth (60 min)

Another option is to fly to Guadeloupe (PTP) and then Air Antilles to St Barth (60 min)

In St Barth the climate is tropical, hot all year round, with a relatively cool season starting in December.
